Shift knob cover

Seriously though, many use it during the summer time when metal shift knobs could burn you because of the heat.

Oh... That never bothered me too much. I had a spun aluminum knob and a stainless knob in both of my Miata's, and I just shifted faster when they got hot. And being in Florida, they got hot! Some people would just throw their hats over the knob when they'd park.

I had spare money to waste so I just hot-swap knobs when I get in. Spare sits in the cubby hole.

Mine is mainly for the winter months, when it's cold.

I have a spun stainless knob on my Z and when I have to park in the sun I have a mini Crown Royal bag in the console that works perfectly to keep it from burning my hand like the villain in Raiders of the Lost Ark who grabs the medallion out of the flames in the bar scene and brands his hand.
