Default Rear wipers?

Somewhere on this forum I read few days ago, a post saying that the rear vipers were an option in non-US models or so. I don't see this option on the US website as well.

But just today I saw a blue Z with the rear wipers on Long Island, NY.

I kinda' like the rear wipers, can someone tell me how to get those here?

That must be a 350Z. ALL 350Zs came with rear wipers. US spec 370Z DO NOT come with rear wiper. JDM model comes with rear wipers standard.

JDM model rear wiper

US model NO REAR WIPER

You can get one shipped from Japan.

stateside 370z's dont offer the rear wiper option...

its really not needed...

just use rainex, it works...water just runs right off, better than having a wiper imo

You love having a piece of plastic with coiled wire destroying the body lines of your car? The 370z has its antenna etched into the rear glass, if you have a coupe or Nismo.

I hardly EVER used the rear wiper on my RSX. I think the wiper ruins the sweeping lines of the car (both the RSX and the 370Z). I removed mine and put in a JDM plug. GLAD to see the US 370Z doesn't bother with it.

Some people might like it in snowy areas but not much here in Atlanta and the rain, as someone said above, just Rain-X it !

That's what a snow scraper and a heated rear window are for! Really no good role for a rear wiper with snow. Rainex and a heated rear window and the slush will run right off.

Yah, it disrupts the lines of the car so I'm glad our Z's don't come with those ugly rear wipers. Those belong on wagons like my dd's, suv's, minivans. Not sport coupes/sport cars, imho.

No rear wiper in Canada either. Thankfully since we tend to get the "extras" on our cars - that's one extra I'm happy not to have...

Not only would a rear wiper be worthless but a detriment. In fact you don't even need wipers if you keep a good coat of Rain-X on your wind shield.

WOW, I had to go to the garage and look at my car to verified that the 370 don't have rear wiper.

I guess I need to look at my car a 100 times more to get used to the differences between the 370 and 350. It just been in the garage since the weather here today is NASTY and I got the car yesterday.

I agree, when I first bought my car is was raining pretty good on the hour plus ride home and I really missed the rear wiper my 300ZX had but then I just hit it with some RainEx
