First blemish? Scuffing my driver's kickplate just about every time I drive it. It probably started with the test drive. I consider this minor. I was out waxing today and am now seeing lots of little chips on the front. This I'm more worried about. Gotta start backing off another car length on the freeway to keep the rash down.

A couple weeks after I picked my car up, back in Jan I ran up an asphalt island downtown SF near my office and scraped the length of the underside of the driver side rocker panel. You can't see it unless you get on your back but it still bugs me knowing it's there. I will be getting it fixed though in coming weeks...

Also have some good curb rashing on my rear wheels, having that fixed this next week when they are powder coated...

The first blemish was a neither small nor large rash on the border of the passenger side front wheel. It hurt like hell but can't do anything about it I guess. Any advice here other than replacing the stock sport wheel..??

Second blemish was an idiot on a motorcycle that put two small scratches on the passenger side door. No dent though. I think it can be repaired using the touch up paint.

Hhhhmmm, now that I read those two blemishes over again, I have the feeling my passenger side is cursed. lol!

Other than that, nada..

on my nismo i got a scratch under the front side of the hood. that hard black protector that protects the bottom.

anyone know how to get rid of the scratch or any time of material to protect it from future scratches?

i got it going down a hill and i took my time since i knew it would hit the bottom.

I hear you on this one, I have a scrape on my side-skirt that's almost impossible to spot unless you are bent down looking for it, yet I'm contemplating getting a whole new skirt because of it.

To avoid getting your front hood and bumper chipped by the car in front of you on the freeway, you should be driving aapprox 50 to 70 metres behind.

This all makes me afraid to do anything but semi-rural, local driving in my Z. I have a private parking carport at my office, a garage at home and a safe and easy drive to work. I have clear bra and a trusted body shop guy "on call." I guess after a few years the Z will become like the Miata I've owned for 14 years now. It too is beautiful but since it's older and worth so much less, it feels like a comfortable pair of prized old loafers when I drive it. I guess, in due time, the Z will also get to that position. In the meantime, I continue to be nervous in the Z for fear that some careless fool will be talking on his/her cell phone and wreck into me, etc. Guess life's not perfect.

the first blemish on the 370 came from the factory...those hideous side mirrors that they took from the Titan parts bin

1st month and about 500mi took a rock off the windshield at about 70 mph. F'n shattered windshield. Sucked watching it get replaced! Have clear bra on complete front nose, 18" up the hood and on both mirrors, really does the job.
