That leads me to the question, what was your first blemish on the Z and how did you deal with it?
First 24 hours - two chips on the hood. Don't know if it wasn't there before I picked the car up, but the dealer took care of it.

After I got that resolved (took about a month total), less than 24 hours later, I got a small nick in the front fascia near the Nissan logo. I left that alone. I had a detailer come in and give my car teh shine job it should have had when I picked it up originally, and they also found another nick in the front fascia by the passenger fang. I don't remember when I noticed this but there's also some light etching where I didn't get the bug guts off quite fast enough. I'm sure those would come out with a polish though...

Since then I've not noticed much...until the other day I found a chip at the corner-edge of the hood where it meets the passenger headlight housing - about halfway up the headlight housing. The housing seemed to take a bit as well as there's a small nick in that too.

The car is a chip / nick magnet....in fact, they should rename the color "Magenetic (for Road Debris, bugs and poo) Black"

Parked on a lot I don't know well. There was no parking beam to the left or right of where I was headed so I pulled in further than I normally do (Lowered on coilovers, 3.5 inch clearance up front). The 1 spot I parked in had a parking beam and scraped my front drivers side up pretty bad.

Got my 2nd bad one 2 nights ago pulling into Walgreens. Lip was too steep and I not only scraped the black front sport lip but it scraped the smaller lip behind it.

Ha! A Z sandwich front and rear hit at 200 miles and 5 days old.

How'd I handle it? Insurance and $7K in body work... Better than new now.

Needless to say, small stuff doesn't bother me now!

Falling eggcorn on my passenger side fender. Tiny ding. YOu can only see it at certain angles. That tree is coming down in the next month though!

Scraped it underneath the first day (like I do every day I drive it) entering and leaving my driveway and I said "Good... now I don't have to be so OCD about it".

I feel the same way. First week or two I was so paranoid driving my Z, but the first week I scraped under front right bumper (can't see it unless you really get down and dirty to look). Really annoyed me knowing it was there at first. Some idiot painted a parking stall past the point of the drive way and I was unfamiliar with the place so the front right scraped. Then the second week a rock left a small blemish in the center of my windshield.

After that I said F-it and nothing has happened since. Its been 3 months!

Well, curbed one of my wheels within a few days of owning it, and then another not too long after.

Hood had some custom swirls installed courtesy of the damned dealership, but they werent TOO noticeable.

Oh, and I did this gem myself a couple weeks ago at the track. Oops 8P

Ouch! That sucks man! Didn't even look you were going fast enough for the car to react like that.

I have four rock chunks taken out of my bumper, found one a few months after I owned the car then two showed up another month later and then this last one. Not sure on my plan yet, as no one sees them unless you are close, but I know they are there.

I had an off at little Talladega and scratched up the bottom bar of the front bumper, but fortunately, just on my clear bra. I did put a small dimple dent in it though.

Dealer installed swirl marks were the first blemish I needed to polish out...

Well, nothing self-inflicted:

1) Someone stopped next to my car when it was parallel-parked on the side of the road, and intentionally opened their door into my passenger door, leaving a dent and scrape.

2) Someone keyed my left rear quarter panel.

3) Someone accidentally opened their door on my right rear quarter panel leaving a small dent.

4) I have rock chips on my bumper and hood (I'm waiting for it to get worse before buying a CF vented hood and painting it along with my front bumper in the GT-R look).

Grrr...

your parking situation really sux...not much you can do...and having smaller parking spaces than normal doesnt help either...
