No New Z Coming Soon Say's Nissan?
Hi All, not sure how accurate this is since it is from an Australian news conference but it seems pretty detailed. Nissan sports car plans on hold
|
Why am I not surprised!!:shakes head:
|
Personally I hope they take a little break between the Z34 and whatever will eventually succeed it. Similar to what they did between the Z32 in '96 and the Z33. IMO there wasn't enough of a difference between the Z33 and the Z34. Especially considering that later model Z33's had the VHR motor. It would be really awesome if Nissan would release something on the lighter side, manual trans, rwd with the new VR30 for under $50k. I guess I'll just keep on dreaming lol.

Don't think we can get any 20 inchers on it though. |
I'd be highly surprised if there isn't a new Z coming very soon. Maybe not for 2018, but surely for 2019. The Inifinity G and Nissan Z were siblings. Well now we have the 400hp Q60... It's just a matter before Nissan plops that into the Z35. I'd be absolutely floored if they didn't.
As far as differentiating between the Z34 and Z35... Well... One is NA and the other will undoubtedly be FI. That's a huge difference already. The only thing that scares me is the possibility of th Z35 losing the manual transmission. The Q60 did away with it. If anything, I can see a manual transmission being a $1500 option. Sad, really. |
it will be dumb to not put that TT V6 in the new Z35.
|
Future Z?
Well, crap!
