I won't be the one to stop resting my hand on the shifter. Decades old force of habit, plus it really doesn't seem like I'm transferring any weight to it whatsoever. Your mileage may vary.

Iono man, was told I was granny shifting and not double clutching like I should, that I was lucky I didn't blow the intake welds, and that I never had Dom — I never had my car.

With NOS in play I imposed danger to manifold and the floor board of my passenger side flew from under me

For this reason I will never change to a heavier shift knob, or wear any kind of jewelry or gloves, as the extra weight on the lever can wear out the assembly.

not too sure about holding the car on a steep incline with the ebrake. Z's ebrake doesn't hold the car too well on steep incline.

also, don't have a big key ring with a lot of heavy other keys, it wears out the ignition switch in no time..

If hills are frequent, try the adjustment in-car if you haven't already. Local stealership wanted $85 lmao. I don't have the space to lift and remove to adjust the drum directly; neighborhood is a bit uptight for me to do it on the street.

I've had a couple annoying stalls on the steepest points of hills because the **** head in front suddenly changed their mind about...moving. Tried the handbrake most times to calmly recover but no bite. I had to heel/toe and gtfo. I generally don't take that way home with the Z anymore.

The video is long on theory and urban auto legend and short on facts or evidence.
