From what I've heard and read, Stillen makes a great exhaust for the Z. They're a bit pricey but they make a quality product. I don't plan on purchasing it until sprIng 2017 so I'll be researching some other brands as well before making a final decision on it.

I'd strongly suggest listening to sound clips or attending some local Z meets. Stillen looks and sounds very similar to stock.

Thanks for the advice. I will follow through on this. Very similar to stock for the Stillen? Wow

Yes. They utilize a horizontal muffler set up so you won't see much of a difference. In terms of sound, there's definitely more of it but still muffled compared to Fast Intentions, Ark, Motordyne. The tones they emit all sound much better IMO.

If you don't like the muffler 'can' design of the above, look into Berk as well. It'll retain more of the stock look but gives more growl than Stillen. Pair it with some Berk test pipes and that's how the Z should've come stock!

Lots of good info here. My buddy has an Ark on his 2010 Nismo and he loves it. Sounds like I have a several good options to choose from.

I've owned a Stillen exhaust. It's not all the craze people make it out to be
