driving in sport shift mode

well i shift up to 5th and sit comfortably around 2 rpm , just didnt wanna put strain on the engine , would sitting at 2 rpm in 5th gear

well i shift up to 5th and sit comfortably around 2 rpm , just didnt wanna put strain on the engine , would sitting at 2 rpm in 5th gear burn the petrol ya think? only had my car for 2 weeks , still getting use to it lol
