I prefer the 350Z early 2003/2004 would top my list because I think it’s a great bargain and I like the overall feel of the car better but its personal opinion. The major difference I have noticed between the two in terms of doing setup and driving them are the following.

The 370Z was built to be more nimble then the 350Z and the way they went about doing this was they decreased the wheelbase by 4 inches. Then on the front suspension Nissan used a few other tricks to change the feel of the car like decreasing the amount of caster from 7.6 to 8.9 degrees to 4.4 to 5.9 degrees for the 370z. This change in Caster reduces steering effort along with the reduced wheelbase makes for a car that feels far more nimble and is likely is a bit more nimble. However, to do this they had to increase the SAI from 4.3 to 5.8 degrees on the 350z to 6.9 to 8.4 degrees since caster will help promote camber gain during cornering. The 370Zs increase in SAI is a more mechanical change to how fast the suspension increases camber as it really is the measurement between the long arm and short arm in the suspension. In a 350Z the top arm is longer so it has less SAI vs the shorter top arm of the 370Z that allows for faster camber gain during compression.

I think this is the major difference in the car the 370Z feels light and nimble. The 350Z feels a bit more heavy but more stable. I think both setups have their ups and downs depending on what type of corner you are approaching.

The good news is if you have a preference for one feel or the other you will end up with a fantastic car.
That's a good point, but the suspension design is also completely different. I really like how smooth my 370 is on long trips, it feels like a luxury car on the highway, really weird.

[QUOTE=Masterbeatty;2995909][QUOTE=zrider;293749]i miss the heated/auto dimming sideview/rearview mirrors alot =[ . the sideview mirrors on my 370z always build condensation ( getting chilly/rainy ) in northern va and takes forever to go away unless i wipe it clean with a rag or something.

Nissan fixed this in the year 2011, it worked pretty good last winter here in the northeast.

I forgot about the heated mirrors. I definitely miss that.

the interior is 10x better. 350z's interior is absolutely horrible in my opinion.

Agreed. I feel the same about the G35.

I think both the 350 and the G35 are better looking cars than their successors.

The 370 has heated side view mirrors, I turned mine on for 2 minutes and almost burned my fingers touching them. (you turn them on by turning on the rear window defrost, there's no seperate button for it...but that's been like that since the Z32)

I have a 2012 Touring/Sport/Navi

i owned an 03 g35 and i drove plenty of 350z and i can say that the 370z dosnt even feel like it was made by the same company . there is nothing in a 350 or g35 i miss in my 370 .. every single part of the 370 is an upgrade if you ask me .. the gear box is the g and z were pathetic for what was supposed to be a sports car . like rowing a boat . i bought the g brand now btw so i know it was that much a pos from day one . in 60k the g had 2 gear boxed a rear diff . both rear wheel bearings and more window regualtors and sun roofs in it than i can count . not to mention my fav . heat stuck on full blask in mid summer .. i wanted to burn that car . i never thought id own a nother nissan actually but the 370z balance power delivery and over all willingness to let you drive it like a jack *** sold me . just crossing my fingers this one dosnt break as often as the g did .

I just miss my tire pressure gauge which now the clock.. Really nissan?! We have clocks on our phones, radio , wrist. Hate not knowing how much exact tire pressure I have. Also hate the smaller side view mirrors. 370z are WAY to big.

B: I was referring to the exterior of the cars. I prefer the interior and drivetrain of the 370 and G37 over their predecessors, but think the exterior styling is better on the 350 and G35. To me, the G35 is probably the best looking car that Nissan ever produced.

Well we're all entitled to our opinions, but G35 being the best looking car from any Nissan product is a really bold statement, but to each his own

Btw, are you referring to the G35 coupe or G35 sedan? Or both?

I like the looks of the G35 over the G37.

Opposite with the Z though. Prefer the styling of the 370 to the 350.

On topic, I never owned a 350 but I did get to drive my buddys for a few extended periods of time. I do remember the gauge closest to the driver was programmable which I thought was pretty cool.

Not to be rude, but nothing.
The lines of the 350 make it look like a convertable with a winter hard top. Like it's a 2 piece car.
I really don't like the way the 350 looks.

I miss the 350z stock exhaust sound compared to my 370z stock exhaust.

I also miss the digital speedometer.

In a side note, I love how massive the side mirrors are in the 370
