Yippee

After 5 weeks my z is back from shop. But i have a quick question , what is the normal operating temp?? I have not looked in manual yet (time). I did not pay attn. to it before but seems like it is a little high. It's running about 215. It was cool tonight , no hard driving just cruising is this high.

Mine usually runs about 200 in grandma-mode. 210-220 in spirited driving.

About 220 in low 80's on the highway. maybe 225 in city.

you want at least 212 to boil out the water.

Sounds pretty normal to me...

It depends on the outside temp...Its been cold in the morning so lately I've been around 140-160 for daily driving. But for spirited driving or hot days its around 220.

KillerBee370 11-24-2009 01:54 PM

Between 180 & 220 depending. I do have an oil cooler on the car but for normal driving it still runs what it would without.
