There is one down side to the aluminium under shroud, if you bump something or bottom out/scrap hard enough to bend it, the aluminium doesn't bend back leaving your bumper bent back until repaired or replaced. It's happened to me twice now.

No need. It already has one. Just remove the four bolts furthest towards the rear of car and fold the flap down. I used a bungee cord to hold it back while draining the oil; after a few oil changes I found it was trained such that I didn't even have to hold it out of the way of the draining oil anymore.
