Totally. I guess people stick with what they know is a good car.

So why do people upgrade? Or can we call it an upgrade? A Z is still a Z no matter what generation.

So was their a huge difference in technology from 03 to 09?

From my perspective the answer is yes. There are significant differences between my 03 Touring and my 09 Touring, not only with regard to technology, but in almost every part of the car.

Seriously...I sold my 03' Enthusiast last winter, and bought 09 Sport two weeks ago.


The appeal? More power, lighter weight, better looks, much improved brakes...Rays sport wheels are very nice.

Little differences...no rear windshield wiper...washer fluid jests aren't mounted on wipers anymore....VDC/TCS is standard...etc.

Don't tempt me. I know I want one, but I'm still in love with my 350.

I actually like the washer jets on the wipers. I also removed my rear wiper a long time ago. I've got my Z pretty much where I want it now, just wish I could drive it more. Correction...there's still a few things I want to do to her.

you could probably swap the wipers pretty easily from the 350 to the 370 so you can retain the washer fluids when you upgrade the hood to cf :) maybe a little modding but im sure it can be done.

I have yet to see one in my neck of the woods. I've heard about one that's been sighted on the winter roads.

I must be way behind the curve. I still haven't upgraded my Z32 to a Z33.

You could always keep the Z32 and get a Z33 or Z34.

I made the jump from an 04 Touring Roadster to a 10 base + sport. I had been considering getting the 370 since it came out but had decided against it for the time being. Sadly though at the end of last year an accident changed my mind. I like everything about the 370 more than my 350...except for the mirrors.

05 350Z ---> 09 370Z

I've owned at least one Z for the past 21 years with some various daily drivers mixed in. The path has been:

82 280ZX --> 86 300ZX --> 91 300ZXTT (kept it) --> 05 350Z --> 09 370Z

The 09 370Z was a tremendous upgrade over the 05 350Z in so many areas.

i didn't know i was going to get a 370 at first, was just hoping so i kept all the parts that would switch over, and sold the parts that wouldn't. then used the money to get the parts for the 370. :D

05 silverstone roadster full bolt ons to a 10 monterey zr. Miss my old one lady very much ! Love the new Z alot ! Miss the torque and the ripping sound of art pipes and md exhaust.

In my sig. Z34 owner formerly Z33. Only complaints going to the new model are increased road noise and the paint chips every 2 weeks on the nose whether I drive it or not.
