Can't see some pics and videos?
 

Can anyone please explain to me why I can't view some photos and videos? I google searched the 370z.com and nothing came up. Appears like such

I get the X on some pics/vids here and there as well. Don't know what it is.

If you're viewing from work, it could be that your business blocks some image hosting sites. If you're viewing from non-business connections, perhaps those images are no longer available at the site they were hosted on.

Most likely the URL is no longer valid. Happens a lot to older posts hosted by outside sites that don't keep image links live indefinitely.

Another possibility is the poster did not link the image correctly or had a typo in the URL. This would mean the image does not work for anyone, including the OP.

I have had a few times where the images or videos didn't show for me, but it seems everyone else could see them. Most of the time, refreshing the page seems to work. If refreshing does not work, try copying the image URL and pasting it in a new tab. Sometimes this works for me and other times it does not.

Thanks for all the info. 99% of my viewing is from my iPad. Just recently have started using Tapatalk but not a fan. I posted that pic so it would show that I can see one just fine but the others are just blank boxes. A long time ago I thought it was because I wasn't a Premium Member or I'm not friends with them but that's not the case either.

I hate Tapatalk. The only benefit is the ease of embedding videos or photos directly from a tablet or phone.

It doesn't really prove anything though. The image you attached shows one member that posted images you cannot see. The other photo has nothing to do with them because it was a completely different member posting. You need to figure out whether the URL is valid or not to determine whether it is on your end or not. Not to mention the age of the post (>1 year) means it is likely to be an expired hosting link.

Try quoting the post with the blank images and seeing what that OP typed. You can copy the image URL directly from his quote and see if it works that way. If not, it's most likely just a bad link (either hosting expired or OP error).

It took me to a photobucket link that wasn't valid. It's really not that big of a deal as much as it is an annoyance I finally decided to ask about after a year of being lost, haha. Thanks for the valuable info!
