I need new brakes and rotors - sport package help

Hey guys brand new to the forums! I sold a 2014 2SS RS Camaro the other day and bought a 2013 pearl white Auto 370z sport package in cash and I absolutely love the car! Many audio and detailing videos to come!

However I need new rotors and while doing so might as well replace the brakes!
I bought the car in LA where there is constant stop and go traffic so it's understandable the rotors would be warped after 40k miles. Wondering if anyone can point me to the right link of some brakes and rotors maybe Amazon or eBay? Thanks for the help!

What should I expect for prices on all 4 wheels?

RonZwanson 07-13-2016 11:09 AM

Yeah, for daily commuting I have whatever Advance Auto's premium ceramic pads are, and they're fine. Do yourself a favor, and if you research online or ask someone at the store, just tell them you need pads for the Nismo, or there's like a 90% chance they'll give you the base pads.

Go to Welcome To Motorsport & The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts!. Get the StopTech pads and rotors. Won't be able to beat their price.

Called auto zone

Rotors 63 front oem
Ceramic 35 front

Rotors 80 rear oem
Ceramic 30 rear

200 totalish

I'd look into the StopTech slotted rotors and StopTech Street pads.

'UltraRev. has best price on these rotors that I could find.

But, hey, if you want oem...

To the OP, can you make a new thread comparing/contrasting the camaro/370z? Things you like/dislike about both. Always curious to hear what others have to say. Actually considering the new 2ss, just wish it came in a 4 dr platform.

Autozone should have the pads you need. Just ask the front desk and they'll fetch whatever they have available.

You should also check the 'Brake' section in this forum. Lots of helpful tips and guidance on what type of brake you need.

Right after my shower here I'll get right on it.

Bah, go aftermarket. Drilled and slotted. Why not upgrade if you need to replace something anyway?

Someone posted R1 Concepts Performance Brake Parts - Brake Rotors, Brake kits, Brake Pads, Brake Accessories, Rotor Disc before.

$408 ELINE DRILLED & SLOTTED FULL KIT W/ PADS
4 Rotors + 8 Pads Set

Looks like The Z Store run about $552.80.

I work at Advance, and you'd be stupid to get brake parts from Advance, AutoZone, O'Reilly or Pep Boys for your Z. First off, most of the counter help are too stupid to ask all the right questions, i.e. base, sport etc. Secondly, their rotors are all stocked on edge instead of flat. Third, you will probably get the wrong parts any way. Get your brake parts from the links provided, less headache and you know you will get good stuff.

go with EBC great product slotted rotors and red stuff pads
