2015 OEM Nismo Exhaust fit a 2009 Touring?
Have an opportunity to pick up a 2015 Nismo OEM exhaust for super cheap and wondering if it will bolt up to my 2009 Touring? Much sound difference?
|
yes it will fit. Might be a little louder and might get a little more power from it because, IIRC, Nismo exhausts became dual pipes then instead of the y-pipe
|
Yeah, Nismo exhaust is slightly different muffler and true-dual. Completely compatible.
|
Thanks for the quick answers. I thought it was compatible, just wanted to be sure.

put a 14 Nismo on my 16 Sport, love it...the pipes will stick out a little farther but no one knows the difference

Greetings. By the way, you are correct. I know a few people with non-Nismo Zs who have swapped the exhaust for the Nismo version. |
I did it. Piece of cake. Do it.

Just picked it up and has only 2k miles on it. $400 well spent IMO. Now I got a project for the weekend. Just need to move crap in the attic to make room for the stocker.

Use some anti-seize on the bolts when putting back together. Just in case you want to take it off/replace it later. Some of mine were rusted real bad, wound up stripping and then just cutting them off.
Side note: Exhaust sounds nice when paired with Berk resonated test pipes. Hit up Kyle from Import Parts Pro on here if you are interested. |
