Back in my late Highschool, early college days when poor ricers would do just about anything to their cars, with absolutely no regard for function. And some really did fabricate exterior brackets for their wing (among other things), from Home Depot or whatever the hardware store was back then, and mounting directly to their bumper.
Some were old enough cars where they had those really strong bumpers, but I recall seeing a 97 Celica, with a kit, and a fabricated wing bolted on that kit's bumper. Such oddities were not uncommon where I was. So yes, they do that sort of thing. |
