The rev match thinks I'm going to down shift but all I want to do is throw it in nuetral and use the brakes. Every time you throw it in neutral it just free revs like crazy, especially at highway speeds. Does this bother anyone else? Is it okay to leave in in S mode for daily driving?
Why throw it into neutral ................... leave it in gear and shift to an appropriate lower gear as the car slows ...........

Sorry, do not understand the rationale behind your "technique"
