EVO-R Performance Motorsports?

Have you dealt EVO-R Performance Motorsports before?
EVO-R* Performance Motorsports 350Z G37 EVO X RX-8 Hummer H2 RX-7

A month ago I purchased a set of Z emblems and had no response from them after 2 emails and 2 phone messages.

Thanks.

cooltoy 06-07-2016 08:51 AM

Before we get another round of EVO-R responses, refer to this thread.

Chuck33079 06-07-2016 10:31 AM

That's pretty much par for the course. He'll be here shortly to claim this never happens. Cancel the order and buy it from the Z Store. Unlike Jay at Evo-R, they are honest enough to tell you if something is in stock before taking your money.

EVOR 06-08-2016 02:50 AM

Chuck ... Again your wrong...

John, email reply. package was shipped next day after you ordered. USPS try to deliver many times, but no one sign for it. So it was left as unclaimed and returned to me. Let me know what you want to do.

Chuck33079 06-08-2016 05:42 AM

EVO-R Performance Motorsports?

I'm always wrong, but your customers seem to keep having the same problems over and over again? It's almost like you don't know how to run a business.

cooltoy 06-08-2016 08:46 AM

/thread.

JohnTrang 06-08-2016 10:12 AM

Thanks for the update!
I never heard anything until now.
I offered to pay additional shipping, but EVO said they will re-send it.
Thanks so much!

wideglideleon 06-08-2016 12:31 PM

Very scarry showing Johns home address on the package.
Very secure and professional giving out personal information of your customers on a web site for ALL to see.

:iagree:

That needs to be removed immediately.

madeinjapan 06-08-2016 01:43 PM

they have a pretty good ebay rating

cooltoy 06-08-2016 02:22 PM

Report the post to the mods, and it will be removed.

Apoc370z 06-08-2016 03:01 PM

That is some pretty good USPS services there, I have sent out a couple packages via USPS up to values of $300 that sunk into the abyss instead of being returned to us.

And he won't acknowledge that he doesn't answer PMs or emails until he's called out in public.

Better yet, don't order EvoR products at all. Stop supporting poor business practices whether it be directly or indirectly.

Latt 06-09-2016 12:16 AM

No clue why anyone would buy anything directly from EVO-R after all the post here. Just do a small amount of searching and you can find all the info you need to know. If you want his products do what others have said and purchase from the Z Store.

EVOR 06-09-2016 03:26 AM

So I should stop making parts for you guys? and not even supply to Z store? see where else you can get the parts from...

That threat was so professional of you.

Or you could just learn from past experience and feedback and adjust how you handle business? But that's clearly not likely to happen

Or, and I know this is a foreign concept to you, stop screwing up. Only take money for items in stock and ship them in a timely manner. Answer your emails and PMs within a reasonable amount of time. The people that get your parts are usually very happy with them. It's getting the parts from you that has always been an issue. There are a lot of people here, myself included, that would love to order a lot of your stuff but the communication and shipping is so sketchy we would never take the chance.

As far as your little threat here - You do realize that the vast majority of your 370 catalog are parts that we can get somewhere else, right? You aren't the only guy selling carbon fiber parts for this platform. In some cases like your diffuser, we can actually get the real fujimura one instead of a knockoff and it's even cheaper than the fake. You do make some unique parts, and it would be a shame if they were no longer available. But that's your call. If you want to take your ball and go home since we're demanding unreasonable things like responses to communication, product in exchange for our money and timely shipping then don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out.

SOUTHZZ 06-09-2016 06:52 AM

Wow!the comment from EVO-R,"see where else you can get the parts from",is telling.
A bit arrogant but true. There is only 2 companies (that I know of)that are producing
carbon fiber stuff for the Z34 and Z33, EVO-R and ZCFcovers. EVO makes parts for
many other makes other than our cars. Possibly that is part of the ongoing problem.
Not focusing on one make?ZCF appears a smaller operation but makes all their items in the
U.S.,does only carbon for Z34&Z33. They also have a smaller selection of items.

But,the EVO attitude of you gotta put up with how I operate or you would get the
product sounds a bit Seinfeld Soup Nazi . ZCF ( sells only on ebay)is run by Z guys
that seem to care about our cars.
Just my take.

Carbon Fiber Element also makes a lot of the same interior parts.

Jay re-shipped my order at no cost and provided me ship tracking.
Received it several days ago and am happy with the product.

I also appreciate the forum responses from both sides.

From everything that I have read and seen about or from EVO-R, I will NOT be purchasing any of their products. I don't mind people having attitudes when they are playing with their own time, money and nerves. But it pisses me off once they start playing with their customers time, money and nerves!

:icon18::shakes head::wtf2:

Well there is always Seibon, ZCF Covers, Carbon Fiber Element, Zele, Top Secret and others :yum:

Evo-R.com: the EVO-R Carbon Fiber B pillars run you $139 +$15 Shipping.$154 total. With a POSSIBILITY of receiving your products

The Z Store.com: Same EVO-R Carbon Fiber B pillars run $134.95 + $8.97 calculated shipping via FedEx. $143.92 total

So, not only does it look like thezstore.com sells your same product for a cheaper price, on top of that they have customer service and doesn't leave people hanging a majority of the time.

I will give you a bit more perspective on shipping times as well. I ended up ordering the Zele Carbon Fiber B pillars from Zele in Japan and they were at my shipping address within a week and a half, literally. Not figuratively.
I was quoted a lead time of 4-6 weeks due to the product coming from Japan.

With the History that EVO-R has on this forum and comparisons being made from thezstore.com price and customer service, to the time from Zele in Japan, there is no reason for the track record that you've accrued.

Even if you were to take the EVO-R products off the market like you have threatened to do, I would still rather pay the $50 more for the Zele Carbon Fiber Products.

Wow talk about a witch hunt.. This is comical because when I went on a rant over a vender I was threatened to be banned.. We as members should be protected somehow from vendors and even non venders who exercise poor business practices from our moderators... It's kind of nice sitting back this time and reading someone else's rant. lol
It truly baffles me how some of these people remain in business...
