i actually went to that dealership (windsor nissan nj) to look at a used 350z. the salesman backed it off a curb so i obviously didnt get that. most of their cars are auction cars. so i went to the other local nissan dealer and bought a new 370. definately a much better buy :)

8 years ago, i was shopping for cars and couldn't believe that most dealers knew nothing, and weren't nice, so I got into the business and have done quite well for myself. The biggest reason I do well is because so much of my competition just doesn't know how to treat customers.

Sorry it happened to you, but it will feel good when you find the right dealer. Calling Nissan or the GM won't get you any satisfaction, but might get that salesman/manager in trouble. Just get yourself the satisfaction of geeting a good deal at a good dealership!

How does an 18 yro manage that considering your credit doesn't get establish for another 2 yrs? I'm confused...

Possibilities:
1. Rich parent (Very likely)
2. saved all his childhood money for a 370z (I doubt it)
3. Robbed a bank (Huge possibility)
4. A drug dealer (Maybe but I doubt a drug dealer would roll a 370z. Ova here drug dealer roll with huge tires with big shiny rims)

I think that's a pretty unfair assumption.

Something like : "Sir let me explain something to you...... I am 25 years old and work for XXXXXXXXXXX. I am self suffcient, manage my money properly, and can easily afford this automobile. My beacon credit score is excellent. Now if you want to continue to insult me by assuming a 25 year old is incapable of having their act together, I CAN carry my business elsewhere, but I did want to by local and do my part to stimulate the economy in the community I live in...... your call, you wanna work with me here or do I need to go elsewhere?"

I hate it when people make sweeping generalizations about something, instead of looking at the case at hand. Everything about you from your post says you had your act together, it's a shame you were treated this way.

True of any profession. If you want to make it in the 21st Century, it is ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I don't see that dealership winning any Nissan "Customer First" awards. :shakes head:

/applaud

The dealership treated me a little weird because of my age. When they found out my income, they tried to sell me the GTR. Things change once their stereotype gets blown to bits.

That line pulled out sounds like bragging... didn't meant it that way. I guess I meant once they found out I wasn't working part time at Walmart, they tried to make all the money they could off of me. Until that point, I was "just some kid", most likely.
