I doubt it. Looks like you damaged it.

Even though you damaged it they should replace it as a goodwill gesture.Jeez, its' a brand new car!

Costs nothing but time and possibly a little aggravation to ask.

Just a suggestion for the future. Because I'm so tall and have such long legs and huge feet, in order for me to drive the Z at all, it is necessary for me to perform the following procedure before getting into the vehicle. After doing so, my feet don't hit anything as I get in. For normal-size people, seat adjustments will probably have to be made after getting into the vehicle. For me, they aren't.

1. Before getting into the vehicle, tilt the steering column/gauge cluster all the way UP.

2. Adjust the front portion of the bottom of the seat all the way UP and the back of the bottom of the seat all the way DOWN.

3. Temporarily tilt the back of the seat to a vertical position.

4. Move/slide the entire seat all the way back.

5. Tilt the back of the seat as far back as it will go.

6. Get into the vehicle by your preferred means and then adjust seat for driving comfort.

To ease exit from the vehicle without hitting anything with the feet, first adjust the seat to the original entry position.

Yep same prob on mine. It started showing signs of wear at about 10k. Holes at about 20k. Just something inherent when your creaping into a tight spot, things will rub and wear down. Knowing cheap stealerships i doubt they will replace it. They know they can say get lost and there will be no repercussions.

ive got an email into svc dept., I know I will end up driving down there to get an answer..
for now I will just be more cognizant of my high heels I guess:icon17:

Mine is worn where the rubber meets the glass 26k miles. It made squeaky sounds at the beginning. Then it stopped and guess what?

Dang beema, sorry to see that....kinda weird though my Z that i picked up used and is getting close to being 8 years old now doesn't have that issue...go figure

I could see that happening to mine, so I got in the habit of lifting my leg with my hand over the door sill to avoid that. But I thought it was due to my age. Lol.
