I Have Parted Ways with My Z
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today........ No wait that's not the case.
Traded in my Z a couple of weeks ago for a Mercedes, I know guys, don't bash me too bad. They paid it off in full (my load value) and my bank really sweetened the deal with an extra low % loan so it was hard to pass up. To be honest I was ready to get back into a larger car again. Now with that said I can honestly say that I don't regret the deal (remember I'm old) but I do miss my Z after only a couple of weeks. For anyone who bashes this car is just silly. You really don't know how much fun the Z is to drive until you're not in it anymore. I can see myself getting another one again sometime in the future, especially if Nissan makes some much needed changes to it. You guys made it fun being here. Very informative with any issue that the car may have had and with your upgrades. I actually learned a lot from reading most of your post. You guys and gals kick major ***. Thank you for welcoming me in for my brief time here, I do appreciate it very much. Hope to see ya'll in the future and I'll pop in from time to time to see what is new. |

As long as you are happy with your new purchase that's all that matters.

Honestly I got myself a CLA250. Thing is nice...definitely a change of pace from the Z. However, I kept my Z. So... LOL

OP, tell me it's at least an E-Class Honestly, I just prefer bigger, more comfortable cars now. My DD's an E39 so I totally understand the switch.

I don't see the draw with Mercedes-Benz. Sure, they have some awesome rides... if you want to spend $100k+ on an AMG Black series or something. Otherwise it's a yawn fest designed to part rich people from their money. Ever work on one? It sucks. Ever buy parts for one? Even worse. $520 for a tail light on a 2010 E350 Avant Gard (kind of their sport package, but not performance oriented... god I wish this site had the jerking-off smiley). Almost $3k for a headlight assembly on an E400 because it was scuffed a bit after the car went through a fence... I'll pass.

Congratulations on the new car. As far as the Z goes, remember cars will come and go, enjoy the new ride. The new Z will be out in a couple of years (maybe) you can always get back in one. Post up pictures of the ride.

the current benz looks kinda weird with its round-ish shape. i first thought it was a hyundai... but then hyundai actually looked better dan the smallish/mid sized benz i saw.
