bought an evo-R F1 smoked light from Zstore, and it was completely different flashing function than as described. they wanted me to go through EVO-R directly since they are the manufacturer, and it was as useless as rat's t its.

I've been witnessing this same bullsh1t on this forum for years. Sad that the admins still support/permit such shady practices. I guess $ rules all. Shame on them for allowing it to continue. I would've banned that loser years ago.
If you were all smart, you would only go through vendors who accept straight up credit card transactions where you can do a charge back at the hint of shady business practices. Those of you who still haven't gotten refunds after multiple years, you should be ashamed of yourselves for not wreaking havoc and causing hell. |

Instead, pay with your credit card and let the vendor answer directly to the credit card company if there's an issue. The vendor can deal with a charge back if they can't manage to hold up their end of the purchase. |

I went ahead and purchased some CF overlays from Evo-R after I bought my Z last year. I paypal'd right away, waited 3 days, didnt hear from him with tracking, emailed EvoR, didnt hear anything for a day, promptly got a refund thru PayPal
The guy is awful and has zero communication.

I can try to reach out to him and get his attention if you still need to make contact. Quote:
Not saying there should be any but with vendors who make parts? they're always some issues but no need to explain what you already know. Quote:

A few members have seen when I hear of issues? I always try to get things resolved, But I can only do so much, But that still doesn't stop me from trying to help. If a vendor keeps getting legitimate complaints? I can advise AK to look into taking action, But IF their many instances from members getting what they paid for and are happy that does makes it a bit hard to do than just have a knee jerk reaction to anything negative that arises. If that was the case this forum wouldn't have much vendors. Blaming admins is easy, But unless every member decides to go Prem to keep the forum running trying to prune every vendor with an issue or issues will be hard to do. Not saying a vendor won't be removed since we've let go a few who completely failed members. Quote:
Unfortunately We may need to revisit or look into what action will be taken if legitimate complaints continue to arise. Thank You for your honest opinion. Last edited by Trips; 06-07-2016 at 10:33 AM. |

Thanks for weighing in Trip..can we set up a sticky thread so that forum members can rate their buying experiences per vendor? Btw I did pay my dues today to become a premium member. Perhaps that should be a prerequisite to complaining about being ripped of by our sponsored vendors.

Its a good thing that you went ahead and became a premium member Pearl Zed. Not only do you have more forum access and cool decals that will be sent, but honestly with how great of a website this is and how well it is maintained.. the $20 per year it is to help is nothing and everyone should do it out of the fact that this website has helped everyone in one way or another. IMO The only reason behind an active member of this forum not donating for the premium membership each year is if you don't have a financial bank card. Heck I went premium about 1 month or so after joining this website just from learning as much as I had and been helped as often as I had in that first month. I think he possibly misconstrued him buying a premium membership with Trips sending a removal onto AK for EvoR. Everyone on this forum would have to be a premium member to not have any vendors sponsorships.

Moderators, friends, family or buddies shouldn't have to be prodding suppliers or manufacturers to respond to their customers e-mails or calls regarding purchases. If you are not professional enough to have common business sense and bit of integrity, maybe you shouldn't be in business at all.
