...

I feel sad.

Anyway, I heard that there is a new Nissan airbag issue for their recalls.

Are all 370Zs' airbags no problem ??

From your article:

The recall applies to certain cars of the following models: the 2016-2017 Nissan Maxima, 2013-2016 Nissan Altima, NV200, LEAF and Sentra, 2013-2017 Nissan Pathfinder, 2014-2016 Nissan NV200 Taxi, Infiniti QX60 and Q50, 2014-2017 Nissan Rogue, 2015-2016 Nissan Murano, Chevrolet City Express and 2013 Infiniti JX35 vehicles.

I think we are good so far.

Pre-cautionary safety recalls, happens to everyone

Going by what I've read on the Intertubes, the problem is with the passenger seat weight sensor and does not affect 370Zs (but that may change). The airbags are not disabled if you have a light-weight passenger.

Unless you have one of the listed models and are toting small kids around (or using a child safety seat), you shouldn't have a problem.

I had a 265/35/19 re11 tire ONLY sitting on the passenger seat and the airbag off sensor was 'off' as if there was a passenger in the seat.

that tire was not heavy so I think unless you have a 25lb girlfriend you're good.

I think it will in the future. I've seen the "Passenger Air Bag Off" light on several times, when my friend rides with me.

Granted, she's like 90lbs or something, but the airbag should be on.

However, when my Little is in the car (with a booster seat) it doesn't turn off (I don't think, I'll have to check next time).

It just seems so inconsistent.

Mines inconsistent too, I though it was just my car. I took it in to get looked at and they couldn't replicate the problem.

Agreed, but i was referring to the app stating a 2010 is a 350Z. 2009 Vert was the last Z33.

their recall campaign for the steering lock was pretty faked up. i mean there are cars out there dat use the same steering lock yet nissan didnt put them in their campaign. so dont be surprised if ur car has issues even if its not listed. u might be the first to trigger a recall down the road. lol

barncobob 05-03-2016 08:09 PM

there is an airbag recall 13-16 most models,,waiting for updates from NIss.
