... I feel sad. Anyway, I heard that there is a new Nissan airbag issue for their recalls. Are all 370Zs' airbags no problem ?? http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2016/...belt-failures/ Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk |

Pre-cautionary safety recalls, happens to everyone
|
Going by what I've read on the Intertubes, the problem is with the passenger seat weight sensor and does not affect 370Zs (but that may change). The airbags are not disabled if you have a light-weight passenger.
Unless you have one of the listed models and are toting small kids around (or using a child safety seat), you shouldn't have a problem. |
I had a 265/35/19 re11 tire ONLY sitting on the passenger seat and the airbag off sensor was 'off' as if there was a passenger in the seat.
that tire was not heavy so I think unless you have a 25lb girlfriend you're good. |

Granted, she's like 90lbs or something, but the airbag should be on. However, when my Little is in the car (with a booster seat) it doesn't turn off (I don't think, I'll have to check next time). It just seems so inconsistent. |
