ok so i just tested a theory that u can start ur z and walk away with the key in your pocket and it warm up its working im sitting in my room :)

just make sure u lock ur doors
so no one can drive off with ur z >.>

And make sure you bring the fob with you when you leave!

I do it all the time when the gf or someone is with me when I am running into the house for something, running in to a convenience store, or whatever else. Just beeps 3 times when you shut the door. You can actually lock the doors too.

I actually utilized this before work this morning to get the front defroster going. All of 3 mins and I was good.

the doors wont lock if you get out and lock the doors if the key fob is in your car.... its idiot proof

And how exactly are you going to lock the car without the keyfob (that's inside) if you're outside?

good point..you'd have to leave it in the car..lock it after you get out and close the door. i think you'd lock the key in there that way...

but then again..it will also open since the key is there...does that mean any a mugger can open the door from the outside if he wants 2 rob u?
