s-mode warning
Hi everyone,
So I was riding the other day and the warning S-mode light came on in my car, not sure what what the meaning of it so I started researching it on the forum but couldn't get a clear answer on what was wrong. Hopefully its just a sensor but Does anyone have any clear answers on what the issue is. Thanks, |
I have the same thing currently. I did the neutral position sensor reset, and that didn't work. Then I replaced the neutral sensor and that still hasn't worked. I'll be having my buddy read the BCM codes to find out what's wrong. Basically you need a Nissan or equivalent scanner that reads more than just the ECU to check for the error code.
If you want to try to reset the neutral position, try this: https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...0e&oe=57243E69 |
Ok thanks, I'll try it out and see if it works if it doesn't I'm gonna just take it to nissan, ill give you an update on what they say just in case you haven't fixed yours yet, thanks again

mine was blinking N but no warning lights. when I was getting my tune what DIRK posted was what my tuner did to reset the 'neutral' position in the car and it was fine. usually happens for a few reasons and MAY or MAY NOT happen 1) tranny work 2) clutch work 3) shifter work 4) ecu resetting/flashing |
