40 or 50 or some places 60 cent difference in ct. used to be only 20 or so. now our gas is going up again because they are switching to a "summer blend". what a rip off.

Jeez, I hadn't paid much attention, but I just filled up, and regular was 2.19 and 93 octane was 3.15. This was at a Shell station outside of the city. Of course everything in Illinois is totally screwed up.

in atlanta the tax is 20 cents so from 87 to 89 is a 20 cent and then from 89 to 93 is another 20 cent difference. anything higher than that is the pump themselves charging more.

93 was 60c > regular at two different Shell stations here today.
Seems as though the spread is sometimes as little as 50c, but I couldn't swear to it as I no longer pay attention to what regular costs. |
