Glad to see you guys getting decent discounts. I was going to shoot for 27k OTD after ALL fees for a base model.

in Sept. 15 bought new MB 2016 Sport with everything but that mirror gizmo for $34K + tax.. the 3 sacramento dealers (all owned by same guy) were $4K higher..
went to SF and the dealers and they were dealing, all were close but I went with the guy closest to me, still 2 hour drive but for $4K.... |

In nearly 4 years on this forum, never saw anyone claim a failed CSC with the RJM pedal and mine has performed well for 3 1/2 years (knock on wood). Oh yeah, while the stock pedal never bothered me too much, I definitely prefer the RJM one. It will be easier to shift smoother between the gears, especially 1 & 2. http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...-system-2.html |

I skipped out on it and ended up paying up to get it there. AND I still dont have SRM. Price difference shouldn't be too much anyway. |
SRM for DD is magical.

HAHA! If I can get one with the Sport Package for less than 30k OTD, I might go for it. I'm already spending too much for a car that will get 90 miles a day. I won't be tracking the car so I think I'm ok without the Bigger brakes, and I've gotten by for years with several manuals without SRM.
I prefer the Base model 18 inch wheels, but I would really like them with the Alloy Finish. It looks like all the 16 models have a Black finish. |

I drive 100M round trip to my customers, so I commute in the Z (as well as other cars in the stable). The Sports package is still worth it for the things you can't just add to the car easily: SRM, larger brakes etc... When I get cut off by an asshat, the brakes are nice to have. And when I duck off the highway and take a few back roads in the sports car...I'm reminded why its a sports car. As much as I strongly recommend the sports package, if I was given the choice of a base Z vs a Honda accord to commute in...the base Z still would be a hoot. - b |

The Idea is to get something Sporty. I won't be drag racing the car so the LSD is not a must. I could buy a car much more expensive, but knowing how fast the miles will accumulate makes me not want to. Surely the base brakes are better than my current 95 Hardbody. I'm not big into mods so I won't be trying to make it something it's not. I'm probably going to stick with new because I don't want to wrench on anything for a good while. Fluid changes are all I want to do. Initially the idea was to get a CPO G37 sedan, but for not much more $ I can get a new Z, and still have manual trans. I know there are some 6 speed G37 sedans out there, but I have yet to see one. |
The Z and the Titan is a great combo. My titan is my dd and the Z comes out for fun sunny days

I have daily driven my 370 for the last 14 months. NO complaints aside from stupid stuff breaking that Nissan doesn't fix like your already aware of. And I live in Nebraska. You can do it and you wont be disappointed, although if your getting a base model you can definitely look used.
