Hopefully since the op has a sponsorship they let the smart kids in the sweatshop make it, not the usual kid with the extra chromosome.

I wish I had a picture of the pile of takeoff bad mishimoto parts that used to be behind one of our local shops. It was impressive.

Op, be very careful with this. Make sure you only get parts that won't kill your motor if they fail. I'd stay away from the oil cooler and thermostat specifically.
I have heard horror stories of mishi thermostats so i wont be using that. I hope I dont get a bad one

If you use the oil cooler, you might want to hit up McMaster-Carr for some different o rings and remove that point of failure.

Not defending them, if I was supposed to be defending them I would make sure I was getting paid for it.

I was merely stating my experience and opinion of the Mishimoto product. I always seem to get crap though for stating my experience with companies that are not forum approved. I am told, I apparently received parts that work as a fluke.
There are plenty of products that happen to fail in many different companies in the production business world. It is part of the business and won't cease for any company. It does not mean the entire company is crap..

News flash, it would be the end result for any o-ring failure from any company and causes leaking oil . If the engine has no oil I wonder what will happen... hmmmm

Plus mishimoto has upgraded the o-ring structure and made it more effective causing less and less failures since then.
EzDz, if you want to just install a completely differently thermo plate or oring setup it would probably be for the best if you never want to encounter the issue.

This forum cant be too bias when it comes to brand name.
Ex. Cold air intakes. If you don't buy the g3's you get hated on; kinda like how you've always done to my posts Chuck

Bring up the past much...
Not going into GTM due to not wanting to ruin EzDz's sponsorship thread lol.. you can swallow that one
As for spec, their clutches are fine, just don't pair them with the hdcsc so nothing ends up failing. Go with the elim kit instead like I have at this point. End of story. Done.
And as for mishimoto, I have stated my opinion and expierences in threads with you before, of which is usually the opposite of your beliefs and apparently in your eyes is a bad thing, Won't be going any further on that either.

Also, what is so wrong with making sure you know what the return policies are for a company. It should be done with any company that you are thinking of purchasing production parts or items.

Congrats on the sponsorship EzDz! I am a bit jealous... wish I knew when they were doing the applications.
