Concentration of sports cars along the east coast?
 

Is there any way, or has anyone ever taken an informal survey to establish where one is most likely to see sports cars on the east coast, especially the Z? I was wondering because that is where I'm from and here, in Missouri, I seldom see a sports car.

You're liable to see more of anything around larger cities. Larger cities are often located near large bodies of water (Atlantic, Pacific, HOMES, Mississippi River, &c).

There are several East Coast-related groups/forums on this site. See if you can figure out where most of their members are from.

My guess would be New York. Money and high population.

I used to see a lot around Baltimore when I lived north of the city in Harford County but I see none anymore. On the west coast? Slam dunk. Saw them everywhere. I'll check those threads you recommended. Again, thanks for the insight.

I've seen more 370's here around Raleigh, NC than I ever did back in San Diego. In Southern CA it is more likely to see older Datsun Z cars still running about and 350's.

I work in an area called Great Neck. The body shop down the road from my office has two ferraris just sitting in the street with minor front end damage. Both f430 scuds. I saw a 75 year old woman driving a Ferrari California around here the other day. A day doesnt go by in this area that I dont see a Lambo, Ferrari, Bentley, Aston, or Mclaren. There are tons of dealers for these cars in this area as well, so it probably has to do more with the clientele available to the brand here. When houses taxes alone in this area are a minimum of 50k per year, you catch my drift. The further you get from NYC the less you see (but you still see a lot by comparison) and the more affordable things become for the most part. Now that you mention it. I see more Ferraris than I do 370z's.
