Actually, until I got the Z, I was pretty much the same way. If you drive a POS, you treat it like a POS.

I will admit we are OCD about our car. But I simply just hate a dirty looking car when it comes down to an iconic Z. And I hate when I use to let the bird dropping bake and leave yellow marks after washing so I try to quick detail it once or twice during the week before I wash her on Sundays. And again quick detailer + small microfiber towel in the Z is win win.

yeah that was why I was happy to see a black GT-R and the driver giving me a thumbs up on the street, that made up for the gas station encounter.

Dwight Frye will become famous soon enough

Shortly after I bought my new Z in September, I parked it under a streetlight in a parking lot. I came out to find a huge bird dropping on the hood baking in 95 degree weather. When I got home, the crap had already left a stain which required a little polish to remove. I don't know if there was any wax on the car from the dealer or factory but did the full Zaino treatment the next weekend. I too keep a small spray bottle of detailer and a MF towel in my car. I have seen how quickly bird crap can etch or stain paint and with a few coats of Zaino on the car and the means to remove it immediately I feel like my investment is protected. The clown with the truck should mind his own business.

lol too true, I would start with two words...then screw up.... by that time my balls have dissapeared. Maybe if they really pissed me off...then it would be a bunch of cussing rather than some smart remark.

Hey there's nothing wrong with a little mud. Up this way that's called a sealant..

I will be getting a gun rack for my 370 though as soon as I can find a NISMO version.

I go for the hybrid look, clean wheels, windows and exhaust tips... otherwise I wash it once a month or less. Cars dont stay clean here in Chicago for longer than a day or two... The interior is spotless, but from in there you can't see the panels... some of you may like to show off the wax but I like driving the car.

IMO

Remember in the movie Terminator when the terminator is sitting in the sleazy motel room and the janitor knocks on the door and asks if something died in there? The terminator then ran through an internal list of possible answers for him.

Well 'ol KillerBee kinda has the same function too. Here's some possible answers for the muleyaks that find it neccissary to expose their obvious lack of basic english and tarter ridden teeth to me on occassion...

Response 1. "Your powers of observation are astonishing!.. you must be legendary among your people"

Response 2. "In other news, a new poll shows that indiscriminate a$$holes are making a comeback"

Response 3. (non-verbal) Lean over as if to look around the dirt sack that has spoken to you and take a peek at his/her vehicle. Then slowly turn back around completely ignoring them and go back to whatever activity they interrupted.

Response 4. "You know.. you're absolutely right" Then start sobbing and reach out to them as if you need a big hug. If they're foolish enough to stick around at this point, grab ahold of them and blow your shnoz all over their overalls.

You can start here and practice some of these methods.
