Default Clutch pedal completely dead

I go to start my car
My clutch springs back to normal
Then I go into reverse to find the clutch is very very short with a lot of dead space.
Then it proceeds to not spring back what so ever and is loose. As in I can put it in and it will stay there.
What's wrong guys
I'm worried and I need her to be good. I love her and I'm stressed out right now.

I put this in the wrong section Im gonna move it

Open the hood, lift the inspection panel and check the brake fluid in the Clutch master cylinder. I beat it is low. IF that is the case the Clutch Slaved cylinder is leaking. Refill it up the full line and hope for the best.

3 step DIY:
1) fill clutch master cylinder
2) head to shop to replace clutch, flywheel, csc, & cmc.
3) write large check to cover repair.

You guys are such downers - look at the bright side! With the CSC likely leaking, bleeding the system should be a cinch!

CSC is the cause. There is a huge thread in here about this. Search in google with "the370z.com" at the end and you will find it.

Step 1: collect underpants

Step 3: Profit.... just not for you, but rather the shop you take it to.

Seriously though, search this issue as it is well documented on this forum. If your CSC blew its wad as most of us suspect, then you should upgrade to one of the aftermarket solutions to avoid this again. Replace the CMC at the same time if your clutch fluid looks dirty (black bits floating in it) so you don't have a secondary CMC failure due to contamination from the CSC failure. You may also want to look into the RJM AFP pedal since over extension of the CSC is usually the cause of it failing. Oh and use only DOT 4 fluid in your clutch system (not the factory DOT 3...you can mix the two if you have to).
