Step 3: Profit.... just not for you, but rather the shop you take it to. Seriously though, search this issue as it is well documented on this forum. If your CSC blew its wad as most of us suspect, then you should upgrade to one of the aftermarket solutions to avoid this again. Replace the CMC at the same time if your clutch fluid looks dirty (black bits floating in it) so you don't have a secondary CMC failure due to contamination from the CSC failure. You may also want to look into the RJM AFP pedal since over extension of the CSC is usually the cause of it failing. Oh and use only DOT 4 fluid in your clutch system (not the factory DOT 3...you can mix the two if you have to). |
