installing pioneer navigation in the 370z touring

I have the stock radio that comes with the 370z touring. it comes with the serious xm stock reciever. when you installed your after market radio did you need to get a universal reciever? or did the stock one work? also with the pioneer radio, I need to order the power wire harnes(left the wires in old car, only have the radio no wires other than the video etc)... I called pioneer and they said they have to get it directly from japan? like seriously we don't have any in America never mind in new Jersey? so any input on the xm reciever for installing a after market radio, and also the wire harness if you know of any alternatives (local shops) that I can give a try.

Try crutchfield.com for installation instructions and for the connector kits part numbers (then buy on Amazon for less)

I'd bet Nissan uses a standard XM receiver but not sure.
