Tune

Is it worth tuning 370z n/a?

As of now, I have no power mods on my Z. I recently asked the same question to a friend and he made a couple points.

1. With a tune the throttle response can be much more responsive.

2. (May be true) The default throttle limit is only 85%? Need reference though.

3. IF you are fortunate enough to own a 7AT, you can decrease transmission shift time.

Thank you I've been debating if I should do it or not this helps a lot and I do have a 7AT

N/A is not worth it. Having several bolt ons like cat-back, mid-pipe, short tails, HFCs, header, cold-air intake, etc., then it's worth a tune

Well worth it with the tune, I had a base line of 280 on the pull. Tuned up 310. Car sounds sick also, best of luck

Do you have any mods, or are you planning on adding any mods?

I have intakes, exhaust and lightweight flywheel.
The tune was definitely worth it for me. I picked up around 30hp and the throttle response is amazing. The smoothness of acceleration is pretty amazing.

If you don't have any mods, it would still give you some gains, but you'd definitely see more with mods.

If you plan on doing any (more) mods, you should wait until you get everything installed, and then do a tune. No sense in paying to get multiple tunes done.
