Honestly man - after a wreck like that, I'd rather have them total it. That car will never be the same again.
Make sure you're compensated enough so you can comfortably replace it. This is all a temporary pain in the ***, but you'll get through it. There are many more Nismos out there. |

Sad to hear and yes, totaling may be the best thing even though it's not always pleasant. If it isn't totaled, it may be harder to sell at a later date (Carfax), and no matter how good it is fixed, there may be some unforeseen issues that arise later.
Good luck with your decision and hope you're feeling better soon...

I feel really bad for you. You had some nice plans for that Z.

Yeah... it's hard to tell from the one rear pic, but if there is sufficient damage to the rear right quarter, and almost anything to the frame, it's going to be a total loss, and it's probably better that way. I have a lot of time trusting heavily rebuilt vehicles... they just never feel *quite* the same afterwards.
Hopefully you didn't have any harm to yourself, but sometimes the stiffness and back/neck pain doesn't set in right away. Just remember, if you get a lawyer to handle the interaction with their insurance company, it automatically pays out triple for medical bills. (at least, it does here in Georgia). Since you got rear ended, I don't think anyone is going to dispute that it's 100% the other guy's fault. |

Well, the Dr. didn't like what he saw on my X-rays. I am going in for an MRI tomorrow. Not good. I feel like crap. Keep your fingers crossed it is nothing serious. I hate going to the Dr.
