Are you going to be able to do a teardown for parts? Just for the car, my suggestion is to not accept the first offer because they will low ball (unless they are serious about your well-being and want to move on quickly). Consider a number that is acceptable to you plus a condition that you can take parts from the car. Let them know what you want. Pull your $aleable mods and then the headlights, seats, fenders, hood, and front bumper (mod money or pocket money). The adjuster will not have the time and appetite to go back there to inspect and will simply send the car to a jobber for salvage. Good luck.

I have an old biker buddy that makes some delicious Apple Pie. I also live at the bottom of the Appalachian Mtns. on the WV/PA side. I don't drink a lot anymore but hot damn I could drink a lot of that stuff. Later on though

Your injuries could keep you in pain for months or years even. One needs to plan for the worst case scenario when accepting a settlement. Their standard is usually to low ball or deny certain parts of a claim etc. Health specialists can help you with info on what might be in store as you get older. Not trying to scare you but as an older person I get pain from many old injuries.

Oh, by the way. I made a mistake on the damage figures. It was 10K with an add of 20,500 supplemental to the 10K
for a total of $30,500. That dude that hit me had to be going pretty darn fast. |

Well, I am still waiting on the insurance company to finish the total paperwork. You would know it would take forever since I have my 2nd Nismo already lined up to purchase.
