cool, i think im gonna get the sports touring, i found a new one at carmax. it doesnt have nav, but i honestly wouldnt use it, so no big deal.

I would like leather but it honestly doesnt matter, but i want the bose sound system, and i cant get the bose w/o the leather.

do a lil research about the bose..that was part of the reason i started the thread. alot of people of the forum are saying that hte bose isnt very good and that it needs more of a thump so alot of people want to change it.

Exactly. Some people are "happy" with the Bose, but no one has ever came out and applauded it. I would base your decision to get the Touring on the ability to get built-in Nav, or the addition of steering wheel Bluetooth/climate before I based it on the Bose system.

I would go with touring plus nav. Although the sports package does give the Z more of a "Wow" factor.

I was in the same boat as the OP, but decided on a base+sports since I didn't want to pay the premium for a weekend driver. I live in CA so heated seats aren't all that important. Though I am told that it's a popular option to please the ladies and SO's. The stock sound ystem is pretty shitty though I must say and I haven't gotten around to upgrading that. But like others I have a separate GPS (and maybe Android 2.0 in the future), and most things I can add aftermarket when there's a good deal. The nav and sound technology wouldn't be as upgradeable anyways.

yea i just did some research, i found out alot of people dont like the bose, and you cant upgrade the H/U as easily w/ the bose, and i want more bass. So i decided to go w/ the base + Sports package. I dont need heated seats cuz i live in Tx, and leather is nice, but i dont wanna pay extra for it. Plus leather looks good, but once it fades and cracks, it can make your car look like shiit.

Just decide which items are most important to you and what you can afford. Get it in the right color. Consider cloth seats for cold winters and hot summers and leather seats for longevity and aesthetics. Decide whether you wanted the coupe or the roadster with the soft top.

I love my NAV too. I went with sport touring nav because:
sport = I wanted the upgraded brakes, rims, and syncro-revmatch.
touring = I loved the leather/suede combo - Always wanted suede and I also love the heated seats.
Nav = only because i hated that huge storage box that went in place of the non-nav cars.

thats my reasoning. everybody has their own. I personally dont think the music sounds like crap - but then again I am severely profoundly deaf :bowrofl::rofl2:

I agree with Cjanick, minus the deaf part
