Front all the posts I've read, overfilling your gas should't be any harm. Since I mostly fill with a card, I like to bring it to the next dollar or 50 cent. For example, if it fills to $34.76, I would add another $0.24 in the gas. If it gets full at $34.21, I would fill it up $0.29 more
