May be collision sensor
I would touch it when car is on.
Secure it before driving.

I typed in the numbers on the part and Google came up with "OEM FRONT KEYLESS SMART KEY PROXIMITY SENSOR"

The car was "tapped" in the rear last Dec. Going to the shop on Monday. I am sure it had something to do with it.

Cooltoy nailed it. It is the room antenna for the keyless entry system. There are several of them located throughout the interior cabin.
