Always follow the German approach to torque. Make everything "Guttenteit".

Anyone got torque specs for valve covers and intake plenum? Much appreciated!

The FSM for my 2011 specifies a specific tightening order for the bolts that secure the valve covers and the intake manifold collector. And the valve covers specify a 2-stage torque setting. See attached PDF.

Someone should take this post down before more people overtorque their stuff. Most of the numbers in OP's post are supposed to be in NM and not FT LBS!!!

Only thing that's kinda correct is the wheel lugs torque specs, everything else will cause issues.

Yup that correct, all values are NM not FT LBS, almost rounded off a bolt because OP mentioned FT LBS!

Different locations use different standards of measurement. The US uses Imperial so I'm not sure why there is surprise that torques given in a random internet post by someone living in the US are in ft-lbs. Anywhere else in the world, you could probably expect Nm.

Torque values are not supposed to be given in any one standard. The FSM torque values are provided in NM, ft-lbs, and in-lbs.

I think they are saying that the values are erroneously labeled in lbs but are actually in Nm. So if one uses those numbers and assumes that they are in lbs, they will over torque.

Hopefully OP can return and straighten this out.
