hey guys,

i have a 7a with about 7500 miles on it. i have had no issues until last night. i put the car in park and the rpms slowly go up to about 2500rpms and stay there for like a 5 seconds and drop down. do you guys know what the issue is? i have no mods on car. thanks.

Nope. Check w/ dealer is your best bet.

Thats my first thought as well. However, I don't believe even the cold start holds at 2500 rpm. Isn't it closer to 2000 RPM? Therefore, i think while it could be related to the cold engine cycle, its still messed up even if it is. Take it back to the dealer for warranty service.

I think it depends on when the last time the car was driven and how cold the outside temp. is.

But of course, if it bothers/concern, take it to the dealer. But I am pretty sure by the time you get to the dealership and turn off and start again to show the dealership, it won't happen.

Take it to the dealer, in the Morning so it can sit till it cools off, and they'll start it and diagnose the startup issue.
