When the clock radio time does not match the pod gauge time

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o4-hO6it3t...-linkimage.jpg

I've always wondered if I was alone in this...

birdman71 01-14-2016 02:44 PM

I look like that not when the time doesn't match, but when ALLL the radio stations that are any good have 1 of 3 things on...

-Hotline bling by Drake
-Hello by Adele
- A commercial.

so I have to choose the best out of worst case scenario haha

Zbrah 01-14-2016 02:51 PM

That's me after lunch at Taco Bell.

MagmaRed370z 01-14-2016 02:51 PM

Yup same here on the clock issue.

onzedge 01-14-2016 02:58 PM

Without clocks, there is no time.

FPenvy 01-14-2016 03:03 PM

for some reason my clock up top is faster than my nav clock. about every 2 weeks or so it'll be a minute ahead and I change it back. so annoying. does not go well with the OCD lol

mishuko 01-14-2016 03:07 PM

i fkin hate adele.

she has the most amazing voices of musicians right now. she has an awesome personality.

but her songs are way too depressing and encourages becoming a stalker and home wrecker.

Seriously!!!! Her voice is amazing and I think it was spectacular how she came back from the vocal surgery she had and the way she sings the doctors were saying that there is a 40% chance that when she first sang in full voice again she would have an issue. But when she debuted after surgery at the grammys.. SHE KILLED IT..

But what are you supposed to do at an Adele concert.. sit there.. cry.. and text your ex?

I'd rather turn off the radio for 2 or 3 minutes and listen to my car just cause in CA cops profile the hell out of our cars. Plus with texting and talking on the phone being illegal and finable offenses. Id rather not try and plug and play. My car sounds better than a ticket.

You don't have steering wheel controls?

I never renewed that lol. I don't care for the satellite radio that much never figured out the channels and my mom decided to invest half my college fund in Sirius XM radio right before they crashed like 5 or 6 years ago lol. Sirius called me but I was like nahh..

I do but that isn't the issue. I love my steering wheel controls.
In CA we will get pulled over and ticketed whenever a cop sees your head tilted down, even if you don't have anything in your hands. You could be sitting at a red light twiddling your thumbs looking down and a cop pulls up next to you, he see your head down and assumes you are on your phone which is illegal in CA. Its a $165 ticket for talking on the phone while operating a motor vehicle and $360+ for texting while operating a motor vehicle. I've already had a talking on the cell while operating a motor vehicle ticket in my old 2000 Ford Ranger where I didn't have a Bluetooth Hands free hookup.

SO.... if I taking out my ipod/phone, unlocking it, plugging it in and turning on music, with my luck a cop would pull up next to me or drive by me and see that and I'd rather just not take the risk of a fat ticket just because I can't sit and listen to my car for 2-3 mins while the radio stations flip songs. :tiphat:

jwick 01-14-2016 05:21 PM

That's a bunch of ******** and another good reason to not live in Cali:rofl2:

Rusty 01-14-2016 07:48 PM

I look like that when I'm having sex, and about to........................

birdman71 01-14-2016 08:02 PM

Just the focus of a navy seal up there ^^

When you drive out in to a dead spot as far as radio signals are concerned xm satellite comes in handy and as far as cops go, never had an issue with them when it comes to hooking up my ipod in the car

axmea? 01-15-2016 01:54 AM

The pod is slower. I just disabled the clock on my nav.

sp911 01-15-2016 05:23 AM

yes the nav clock can be deleted. I did it after a month of annoyance.

kenchan 01-15-2016 06:10 AM

Mang I wish there was a way to turn off the clock on my pioneer HU. They use to have a feature on the previous gen..

I don't know why Drake has a career. He looks like he would cry if you took his lollipop.

Dirk McGurck 01-15-2016 06:19 AM

I have an old cheap iPod in my car at all times, so I can just "Source" over to it as needed. And I turned off the Nav clock since it was never synced up with the pod clock.

Leingod 01-15-2016 07:04 AM

What's an iPod? Kenchan, any word from J-land?

he started from the bottom ya hear?

like you know... mommy runs a promo business and he was boy star in degrasse or whatever teeny bop show.

burntz 01-15-2016 08:42 AM

Also annoyed by mismatched clock times... Especially since GPS invented which sends a continues correct time signal, why doesn't it keep the clock correct...

re music; I have a mini usb memory stick with a 'top 200ish' list on random (16 gb, 8$ on Amazon) that plays my favs if I can't be bothered to play with the iPod

jwick 01-15-2016 08:47 AM

Damn I'm OCD and the clock never bothers me. Is there a second digital clock in the Z?

The G just has the nab digital clock and the other in analog.
