I do but that isn't the issue. I love my steering wheel controls.
In CA we will get pulled over and ticketed whenever a cop sees your head tilted down, even if you don't have anything in your hands. You could be sitting at a red light twiddling your thumbs looking down and a cop pulls up next to you, he see your head down and assumes you are on your phone which is illegal in CA. Its a $165 ticket for talking on the phone while operating a motor vehicle and $360+ for texting while operating a motor vehicle. I've already had a talking on the cell while operating a motor vehicle ticket in my old 2000 Ford Ranger where I didn't have a Bluetooth Hands free hookup.

SO.... if I taking out my ipod/phone, unlocking it, plugging it in and turning on music, with my luck a cop would pull up next to me or drive by me and see that and I'd rather just not take the risk of a fat ticket just because I can't sit and listen to my car for 2-3 mins while the radio stations flip songs. :tiphat:

When you drive out in to a dead spot as far as radio signals are concerned xm satellite comes in handy and as far as cops go, never had an issue with them when it comes to hooking up my ipod in the car

The pod is slower. I just disabled the clock on my nav.

sp911 01-15-2016 05:23 AM

yes the nav clock can be deleted. I did it after a month of annoyance.

Mang I wish there was a way to turn off the clock on my pioneer HU. They use to have a feature on the previous gen..

- A commercial.

so I have to choose the best out of worst case scenario haha

I don't know why Drake has a career. He looks like he would cry if you took his lollipop.

I have an old cheap iPod in my car at all times, so I can just "Source" over to it as needed. And I turned off the Nav clock since it was never synced up with the pod clock.

What's an iPod? Kenchan, any word from J-land?

Also annoyed by mismatched clock times... Especially since GPS invented which sends a continues correct time signal, why doesn't it keep the clock correct...

re music; I have a mini usb memory stick with a 'top 200ish' list on random (16 gb, 8$ on Amazon) that plays my favs if I can't be bothered to play with the iPod

Damn I'm OCD and the clock never bothers me. Is there a second digital clock in the Z?

The G just has the nab digital clock and the other in analog.
