Just the Si. The Accord Sport is really nice. The Type R looks like a ricers match made in heaven with that giant seagull wing on the back.

We just bought one for my wife last summer and love it

The 6MT Accord EX-L we had before the Z was a great car as well despite a bunch electrical gremlins. The previous owner was an idiot and screwed up a bunch of stuff not knowing what he was doing. But Honda took extremely good care of us and did nearly $5K worth of electrical repairs over a 6 month period under a warranty we didn't even have. We went back that same dealer for the new Honda, and they haven't disappointed (although I don't exactly have high expectations for dealers in the first place).

You should see AcuraZine hate on anything NOT Honda, then come back here. And as a side note, I own a Honda. Well I guess I should say Honda(s) because my lawn equipment also has vtec.

Agree, I love how it looks. But leave it to Honda to have a sport trim but not offer their coveted 3.5 V6

God... I hate that forum. Had to ask a few questions regarding my dads 2006 MDX. I was crucified because I didn't know where the secondary latch inside the trunk was to open the hatch.

But seriously. Civic Si's are junk. They are just long lasting pieces of junk.

Yeah, especially the TL section. They think the 07-08 TL-S and the SH-AWD in the later gens is god's gift to the automotive world. They especially love to hate on the VQ (their only argument is reliability), then they default to the interior. LOL. I love pushing buttons there.

Leingod 01-07-2016 09:03 AM

I'd still buy an S4 in a heartbeat. They can keep the TT. The Z's interior does suck. But I'm not looking at or petting the damn dashboard when I am driving a freaking sport car though. The Civivs is mainly cheap palstic and faux leather also with cloth seats. I'm not penalizing it for having crappy interior quality. I'll penalize it for using a digital speedometer so recessed within the dash that direct sunlight beaming from the drivers side of the car makes reading your speed about as hard as a blind person ordering food from a touchscreen at mcdonalds when the voice function is off.

I never had an issue when driving a 2006 Civic LX Sedan for 5 years. Literally no complaints other than power and the seats could use a teeny bit more padding. But it's a perfectly reliable and perfectly usable sub-$20k car. I would own an Si tomorrow for a daily if I could.

I always hear the older models being better. The GF has a 2009 Civic EX. It's practical and quiet. No power, but big deal. It seems like the newer revisions and specifically the Si's are what are horrible.

I like the Z interior with factory nav. It's not plush with leather, but it looks decent in my opinion.

i saw a jetta GLI (?) this am...appeared lowered  with oem looking nicer wheels. i like it better than the A4's.. aka euro-camry's

too bad vw's getting its face kicked in by the us government for cheating.

^^^^^ getting beat up for the lying might make them put out some killer deals to get the cars moving again.

Nissan lied to us when we bought my Wifes Rouge. They said 26/33 shes getting closer to 30/36. She also drives like old people fornicate but she was super stoked with it.

kenchan 01-07-2016 11:03 AM

nissan has some really great cars out right now for the normal folk.

like even the altimas are supposed to be really efficient and powerful for wat they are.

kenchan 01-07-2016 11:04 AM

not sure about the 4.D.S.C though... :ugh:

With reckless abandon and lots of STDs?

Dirk McGurck 01-07-2016 11:22 AM

For me an interesting car has to have a manual option, and not just a manual on the economy trim level. Otherwise it's the same sitting on a couch pushing buttons wrapped in a different shape.

I used to rock my mom's 03 Odyssey back when I first got my license. That thing boogied for being a minivan. 3.5 SOHC V6 with VTEC, I think something like 240HP. :p
