Gun Metallic 370z spotted recklessly racing in Northridge, CA with G37

Last night I spotted a Gun Metallic 370z recklessly racing against a white 4-door G37 with red wheels in Northridge, CA. They were racing North on Tampa St. all the way up to the 118 Freeway. They were racing constantly from a roll on 5 different occasions. I believe they were reaching speed close to 100 MPH on a 35 street. And no, I did not chase them. I'm not 100% sure but the driver of the 370z may happen to be a CSUN student. I couldn't confirm his exhaust but I believe it was Ark exhaust.

*Note to the @ss hat owner of the GM 370z and G37*
If I see you recklessly driving in my city one more time, I will report your @ss to the police. You're lucky I couldn't get your plate down due to the dark.

Good thing I don't live near you. It's not that I drive like a fool, like the person above. I just don't like people who are snitches.

Would I tell him off if I got the chance, Yeap.

Jay. I support you bro. Call 'em. Nothing wrong with reporting any wrong doing. Cops need help catching the bad guys. Remember San Bernardino? Neighbors should have reported suspicious activity but never did. I use Tampa each day I go to work and have seen a fair amount of accidents there.

Similar thing in Indianapolis last week had an unfortunate ending.

The driver of the Mustang "floored it" as it overtook the Corvette, the report said.

With that last burst of speed, the Mustang flipped over the median, and crashed into a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer that was traveling north in the 4500 block of South East Street on the Southside.

The impact killed a family of three that rode in the Trailblazer, including a 12-year-old girl.

I think you missed the point. The 3 killed were innocent by standards that got taken out when the mustang jumped the median and landing in oncoming traffic.

RIP to that family, tired of all these stupid ***** giving enthusiasts and a bad rep

Most cops get it...if you want to kill yourself go right ahead and do it, but if you are going to involve others then you got to suffer the consequences.

Be safe as an adrenaline rush has nothing to do with being stupid!!!

:iagree:

The Mustang driver had 3 other people in the car including a 10 year old? :shakes head:

Also, I call BS on the Vette losing.

did you really just compare speeding (fun) to a terrorist attack?

FPenvy 01-04-2016 12:08 PM

also 100mph in a mustang = unsafe because it's a mustang and most are driven by retards.

100mph in a Z = safe.

the z feels solid and planted even at speeds well over 100mph.

OP I understand your concern but no one likes a snitch. :shakes head:

the vette backed off most likely because of the speed and conditions.

i get egged into speeding all the time... i mash my gas until 5 over and then hold my speed. most of the time these guys can push 2 pedals really well but can't handle a non-straight line maneuver. take a spirited corner and see if they can hold / close the gap.

The people that think you are a snitch are probably the same people that believe they can text and drive safely. There is a time and place for everything and going 100mph in a 35mph zone is not one of them! Safety of other road users or pedestrians should be the first thing on any legally responsible driver's mind. If you do this type of thing or believe people who care are snitches, than you have total disregard for human life. I just hope some innocent bystander is not harmed by your actions.

I was referring to the drivers only. didnt mean to infer the victims..
