Tires P275/35R19

Is it possible to put wider tires on the stock rims? Anyone know where I can go to find this out?

Sure. It depends on the width of the rim. That dictates how wide a tire you can go. However, the important thing is not so much the width of the tire but adjusting the aspect ratio to keep the same circumference. If you don't adjust the aspect ratio when increasing tire width you will alter the circumference of the tire and throw your speedo completely out of whack. In other words, you can't go from 275/35R19 to 335/35R19 as this widens the tire but keeps the same aspect ratio resulting in a tire whose circumference is bigger than stock which would throw your speedo off and raise your car's height.

I would think you can try a 285/35/19, but then you will get that bubble look.

275 is wide enough for the street hehe. At any rate, you should be able to get away with 285's....they will probably bulge a little bit and you are going to lose turn-in crispness and speed. You should look at some wider wheels if you want wider tires...get something that works well together, just as the stock setup does. Honestly, you're just going to spend a lot of money to get slightly wider tires that don't perform quite as well in order to make the limits of your car harder to reach on the street and thus more dangerous to have some "fun".

Haha most the bippu scene is constantly trying to find ways to put skinnier tires on their rims. SUPER STRETCHED look. But yea I agree with RCZ, you can't really get any significant increase in tire size on the same size wheel, and it will bulge. I'm sure you could probably fit a 315 tire if you stuff an 11" wheel in the back.

You should be able to fit 285/35s or 295/30s without too much hassle on the stock suspension. If you do that though, I put 255s or 265s up front.

255/285 is easily doable without any issues on a 9/10 inch wheel.

I think you could fit 315's with the right wheel offset ..not that you'd want to.

you can fi t305 on a stock G37 tire buldges a bit but no suspension issue or rubbing so 285's on the Z would be a non issue.

OP stated on the stock wheels.

305's would definately be doable with the right offset and wheels (an 11 inch wide wheel would be optimal).
