Hello! I was going to buy a used 2k14 7AT touring plus sport for 23k before ttl but decided to just buy a new one. best quote so far ive gotten was $32,800 for 7at pearl white Base with sport. (California) Before tax and title

Lets see those numbers!

sound good for a new one.

mishuko 12-31-2015 07:08 AM

IMHO i'd go used. previous owner eats the big 1st year depreciation and you save up 10k for...

oh wait you're in commie state cali.

i would have recommended saving that 10k coin for some upgrades. intakes/cbe (only things that you can really do) and suspension and fat tires. oh and a tune.

and then order a replacement HD/external CSC / msc for your reserve for the inevitable.

plus you're getting the sports package... rims, less than stellar LSD, bigger brakes, bigger better rims and the SRM on manual

Buy the 23k one and modify it.

I'm currently in the same boat as you...I think it would be nice to have a piece of mind that comes with a new car (warranty), and knowing that no one else has driven the car.

The best price I have come up with is $32,500, so yours doesn't seem too far off.

I purchased a 2015 Base 7AT in March 2015 in San Diego. OTD price including California sales tax and all fees was $34,420 (cost of vehicle without tax and fees was $31,480).

I went back and forth with sales people from other dealers to try and get the price down, also TrueCar helped out with leverage. Good luck.

^ So actually he has found a good deal. You said you paid that for your Base..his price is for a Sport.:p

Correct, that is a good deal! I was just giving him some additional info about mine so he had an idea of what Zs are going for in Southern California and how significant sales tax is here.

Also keep in mind that it is the end of the year, so they will be more discounted than when I bought in March.

29k. Asked dude to order a base 14. He ordered a sports one and didn't want to send it back so asked us what we were wring to pay for it. We nudged from 28500 for base to 29000 for base sports.

Landoz 01-03-2016 12:42 AM

I think I got a good deal on my z for $25,500 it was a pre owned 2014 Magnetic Black with only 5k base model manual

blueranger 01-03-2016 12:03 PM

Buy 2014 and save tons of $$$ should still have 3yr-36K warranty for piece of mind. Use money saved to personalize it and make it your own.

I would just make sure it is a clean title no accidents and try to get service records.
