Wow we have identical bikes. Mine is the exactly the same as yours minus the header. This was my first season with the PC and wow what a difference. Case in point, your bike wasn't fast enough for you, that's why you modded it. Part of the reason I got the bike was because the Z wasn't fast enough for me, and that was 3 years ago.
Guess what color mine is, hahahaha. Do you think I have enough decals, I think it needs more? (kidding I swear) It's such an awesome bike. |

what a great group of people on both this forum and 1addicts. I didn't think both sides would be so objective and unbiased regarding your responses. I appreciate it way more than you know. I'm getting fantastic feedback from both parties. I posted this on a bmw forum as well and the response is similar. They are all very welcoming of the Z many commend it as well.

Well with the 135 you can get the GO factor you are looking for, with FI thats the game here, people saying the 135 is ugly is also not true, in my opinion its a nice looking little car, i would definitely support the jump! better interior newer car and lets all agree much faster (bolt ons and tune). just know that maintenance and BMW parts are much more pricier than the Z with everything said id say go for the 135 but try and find something with lower miles. UPDATE us! GL

I raced an i135 and 335xi, both were JB4 tuned, I was able to beat the 335, but the 135 gave me the *** whooping of my life, it was also on meth.

Never. It's kind of sad that such an expensive car that is supposed to be so well engineered has so many expensive fixes with very minimal miles. I couldn't imagine my Z ever having issues, let alone at 47k

This is a silly post. Saying you love your Z but you drive 3500 miles a year????
It's like saying I love my beautiful wife and we make love once every 3 months. Then, 3 years later, she is older and you are considering someone else. I don't believe anyone loves cars, love their Z and have only put on 23000 miles on a 2009. It's beyond ridiculous. Weather is not an excuse either as there are Canadians on this list who drive their Z year round. I live in the Midwest, put blizzaks on and drive year round. I put on 18k a year. |

I think he is referring to the 3.0 TT V6 Infinity / Nissan engine in other threads.

My brother has an 09 m3 so yes they are nice cars to drive but I do not like bmws period. I am more of a merc man as I had a 99 500cl which was awesome but had to sell because it ate too much gas. I know bmw has reliability problems because my sister has a 99 3series she wants to drive of the cliff. Only german cars I like are Porsche and mercs.

If you haven't driven both cars, why even chime in? That is the reason for the post. Last edited by TPrelude-370z; 12-24-2015 at 10:45 PM. |
