Need Help with a Decision....
 

So I have in my possession Invida HFC's and Borla CBE. Both brand new in box. I have been reading a lot of threads about a hiss possibly from the HFC's and about how loud this set up may be. I have a appt to have them both installed tomorrow. MY concern is that my wife who also drives the care will not like the "new" sounds coming from it.

I was thinking about just installing the CBE to avoid any headaches from her.

Help me decide....

Problem 1: Wife drives the Z - Get her a prius or something if she isn't as enthusiastic about the vroom vroom as you. Jk... Honestly no idea if she will care or not. No one would ever stop me from modding the way I want, Don't like it? Don't drive it.

Install the parts and get your wife a different car to drive?

Keep the car and parts and make it louder than $hit and drop the wife?

Find a respectable second car she will enjoy and get that. Then do whatever you want with your Z.

My girlfriend doesn't always like how loud my car can get. So we take hers places and mine sits in the garage.

I don't think that setup will be obnoxiously loud or anything so you should be good

I installed my HFCs about six months after installing my CBE and wish I had done so sooner. I don't see any reason why your set up should be that loud. Maybe under WOT, but it should be loud under WOT!

I would install everything, that way the wife won't drive it.......

Can't even comprehend "wife drives my Z" (lol) but if you have to choose one then go with the HFC, that'll get you more power then an exhaust
