So...do I have any other options? Is it worth trying to fight more? Should I say F it, get it home and rip the thing open?

There's a DIY on this site that shows how to cut the ESCL open and modify the internal switches. If you can't find it using the site's search, try one of the major search engines and add
site:the370z.com
to your search string.

Yeah, same for me. I researched the heck outta the car before I bought it for any known issues and decided to just go ahead with the automatic. Plus, with Los Angeles traffic driving a stick would just make me go insane. Hopefully, you get this issue fixed but hate to say it that you should've just pulled the fuse and not taken the chance of it happening.

I would call corporate, talks to other dealers, send emails and letters, get the media involved as a last effort. Then if everything fails rip the thing open and try .:ugh2:
